Baby Sifa joined the Brydges Centre Family in the summer of 2023.

How did she receive this beautiful name? It was given to her by Rosemary and the children the day she came to the Centre because everyone celebrated her arrival with singing and praises to God!

We previously shared how Sifa was abandoned in a sports stadium in a town just down the road from the Brydges Centre. Government officials brought her to the Centre for what amounted to a life saving act:

she was very sick, malnourished and the government had no means to care for her.

Because of the Centre’s reputation in the region and the excellence of the love, care, and education Rosemary and her staff provide, the officials knew she would not only survive, but that she would thrive.

Sifa Is Thriving Indeed!

This is Sifa today in her sparkly dress with even more sparkly eyes!

She is living in her beautiful home at the Centre called “The Baby Cottage” and can walk from one end of the play room to the other.

18 months ago she was abandoned and near death.

Today she is laughing, playing, and smiling because of the love and care of “Mama Rosemary,” and her amazing staff.

We can all praise God for Sifa!
